Three questions, then a skipper replies on WhatsApp.
Our water activities in Marseille are enjoyed from a private sailboat or catamaran: the boat becomes your base for the day, at anchor in the most beautiful coves.
Included in our private trips: paddle around the boat at anchor, in the turquoise water of a cove, standing or kneeling for beginners.
The skipper chooses a sheltered anchorage with clear water. Dive from the swim platform, use the swim ladder, and swim to the beach.
Mask and snorkel to discover the posidonia seagrass, salema, rainbow wrasse and sea urchins of the Côte Bleue and the Frioul.
Explore small coves the boat cannot reach, solo or in pairs, supervised by our team on group trips.
Thrills for young and old, up to 10 people, on the Côte Bleue, outside the National Park, where towed activities are forbidden.
Dolphins regularly appear off Marseille. We observe them respectfully, from a distance and with the engine at idle.
With our partners, we also organise introductory dives, jet-skiing or water-skiing, only in areas where they are allowed, outside the marine heart of the Calanques National Park.
From 10am to 5pm, swimming, paddleboarding and snorkelling in the coves, lunch at anchor.

See team buildingThe forts and trails of the Frioul islands, the village of L’Estaque so dear to painters, the port of Cassis or Île Verte in La Ciotat: a stopover to stretch your legs.
Lunch by the water at Vallon des Auffes, Les Goudes or Niolon, a bouillabaisse or a calanque restaurant: the boat drops you at the pontoon.
Arrive by sea at the foot of the MuCEM and Fort Saint-Jean, or at the Vieux-Port for the morning fish market.
Stopovers can be combined with our sea transfers and our days at sea. The skipper knows the accessible pontoons, restaurant opening times and the best times to visit, so the stopover fits naturally into your day with no time wasted. For a large group, several boats sail together and meet up at anchor or at the stopover.
Welcome on board, safety instructions, life jackets handed out. Head for the first cove on the Côte Bleue, twenty minutes away.
Anchoring on sand, diving from the swim platform, first paddleboard rounds and snorkelling over the seagrass.
The caterer’s meal or your picnic, in the shade of the bimini or on the catamaran’s trampolines.
The towed ring outside the National Park, kayaking in the small coves, or a sightseeing stopover at the Frioul, as you wish.
Sailing back under sail when the wind allows, with an eye on the horizon for dolphins, arriving at the port around 5pm.
All our activities take place under the responsibility of a professional skipper, who chooses the anchorage, watches over swimmers and adapts the programme to the weather. Adult and children’s life jackets are on board, as well as a first-aid kit and all the regulatory safety equipment.
Paddleboarding takes place at anchor, close to the boat, in swimming areas. The towed ring is supervised by a dedicated driver, in open water on the Côte Bleue. For diving, we work with partner clubs who provide qualified instructors and equipment.
Before each water activity, the skipper goes over the instructions: stay together, do not stray from the boat, report any difficulty. Children remain under their parents’ supervision, and everyone is free to enjoy the sun on board rather than swim.
A few minutes from Port Corbières, the Côte Bleue has a string of calanques sheltered from the mistral, clear water and few people. This is where all our activities take place, including the towed ring. The Côte Bleue Marine Park protects two reserves there, off Carry-le-Rouet and Cap Couronne, where anchoring, fishing and diving are forbidden.
Pomègues and Ratonneau, at the entrance to the bay, offer turquoise coves ideal for paddleboarding and snorkelling. The islands are part of the Calanques National Park: towed activities are not allowed there.
Spectacular scenery, but strict regulations and big crowds in summer. Swimming, paddleboarding from the boat and snorkelling are still possible, in line with the Park’s rules.
Departing from Cassis or La Ciotat, Île Verte and its coves make for a lovely day of swimming, with the cliff of Cap Canaille as a backdrop. All our boats can leave from these ports with a supplement of €300.
Every day, the skipper chooses the most pleasant spot depending on the wind: when the mistral blows, the coves of the Côte Bleue and the shelter of the islands often stay calm while the open sea is rough.
Children love paddleboarding, swimming from the swim platform and looking for fish with a mask and snorkel. We choose a shallow anchorage for them, sheltered from the wind, such as the coves of the Côte Bleue or the natural harbour of the Frioul. The catamaran is ideal for families: stable and spacious, with nets at the front where the youngest can watch the water go by in complete safety. Life jackets are provided in all sizes, and the skipper adapts the pace of the day to naps and snacks.
For a group of friends, a day of water activities in Marseille means challenges: a paddleboard race to the cove, a jumping contest from the boat, an introduction to snorkelling and, on the Côte Bleue, towed ring sessions. The afternoon ends in the shade of the awning, with music playing softly outside protected areas, before heading back at sunset.
For two, the sea is enjoyed differently: a paddle on the calm morning water, a swim in a deserted calanque early in the season, lunch at anchor. For a shorter trip, our 2 to 4-hour boat rides let you enjoy a cove without devoting the whole day to it.
Water activities are a great team bonding tool: paddleboard and kayak team challenges, a regatta between sailboats, a rally from one cove to another. We build the programme with you according to the size of the group, everyone’s level and the objectives of the day. See our formats on the team building in Marseille page.
The sailboat offers real sailing thrills and suits groups of up to 10 people. The catamaran brings space and stability, with a wide stern platform from which to launch the paddleboards: it is the ideal boat for a string of water activities for up to 20 people. For larger groups, our classic sailboats and multi-boat trips keep everyone together at anchor.
Everyone enjoys the day at their own pace. Some move from paddleboarding to snorkelling and jumping off the boat, others prefer to read in the sun on deck or watch the coast go by. Tell us in your request which programme suits you: a contemplative day from cove to cove, an active day with challenges and the towed ring on the Côte Bleue, or a mix of the two. The skipper then adjusts the day on the spot, depending on the group’s energy, the water temperature and the day’s wind.
The Calanques National Park, created in 2012, protects a marine heart of 43,500 hectares, from Marseille to La Ciotat, including the Frioul islands. Its rules apply to all boats, and we follow them to the letter:
These rules protect the posidonia seagrass, seabirds and the peace of the area. That is also why we favour the Côte Bleue for thrill activities, and why our skippers always anchor on sand. Discover our commitment on the Let’s be eco-friendly page.
